At The Laundry Depot, we have used a variety of detergents and have witnessed the use of many others.  From out experience of cleanliness.  The cheaper off brand detergents sold at various retailers, just aren’t good for heavily soiled laundry.  We often use Original Tide or Purex with Clorox 2.  These two usually leave laundry clean on the first wash.

Nowadays, hypoallergenic detergents are more popular than ever.  At The Laundry Depot, we noticed that powder detergents seem to cause more irritation that liquid detergents.  We have also noticed the power of good washer rinse cycles.  The rinse cycles rinses away excess detergent as well as dirt.  All of our washers are set to use three cycles of rinse.

Fragrances on laundry is the benchmark of cleanliness for some, but a coverup of smelly laundry for others.  We prefer the smell of our detergents to be light and gentle.  Most importantly choose a detergent that will eliminate odors/
